The Master's Degree in Occlusion and Oral Rehabilitation is a degree from the University of Barcelona that has been taught for 30 years and aims to achieve the highest level of competence in the entire field of dental prosthetics, from the simplest cases to the most complex ones of oral rehabilitation. It covers all the fields of prosthodontics, removable prostheses, total and partial, fixed prostheses on natural teeth and prostheses on implants, as well as craniomandibular dysfunction and dental sleep medicine.<\/p>

The course is aimed at graduates or graduates in Dentistry or graduates in Medicine and Surgery specialized in Stomatology, with some clinical experience who wish to expand their knowledge and clinical skills in the field of Prosthodontics and thus gain confidence and security in complex and multidisciplinary cases.<\/p>

It is problem-based learning, so that the student is confronted with the patient from day one. Students work in pairs, one in the first year, with one in the second. In addition to the clinical activity, clinical sessions are held in which the most complex cases are discussed, based on the literature, and seminars are also held on specific issues.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Duration:<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>The duration of the course is 2 years. The start date of the master's degree is the first Monday of the month of September. The hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 or 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The academic calendar is specific to the Master's degree, although the Christmas and Easter holidays coincide with the UB academic calendar. The summer vacation month is August.<\/span><\/p>

Assessment:<\/b>\u00a0attendance at all the activities of the master's degree is compulsory. The evaluation is continuous and ends with the defence of the Final Master's Work.<\/p>

The course is aimed at graduates in dentistry or graduates in medicine specialized in stomatology.<\/p>

The selection of candidates is made by the curriculum and the following items are evaluated: university where the degree was studied, academic record, work experience, participation in humanitarian activities (dentists without borders or similar), prosthodontic training, level of English and others such as wanting to do the thesis. Once the resumes have been analyzed, the pre-selected candidates are interviewed.<\/p>
